SUMMARY:CELT: Course (Re)Design Institutes (CDIs)
DESCRIPTION:Monday\, June 9 through Thursday\, June 12\, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. \nEach summer\, CELT offers Course Design Institutes (CDIs) that are intensive\, multi-day workshops in which instructors design or redesign courses based on backwards course design\, universal design for learning and TiLT\, active learning strategies\, and other key pedagogical strategies for course success. Each day of the CDI includes instruction\, hands-on activities\, discussion and time dedicated to working on your course. Participants can expect to be working Monday\, June 9- Thursday\, June 12 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. each day of the institute\, with a one-hour break for lunch.

SUMMARY:CELT: Making Mistakes Learning Opportunities (AI and Others)
DESCRIPTION:This semester-long institute will consist of four\, one-hour workshops. Each workshop will be offered once. All faculty and teaching staff are invited to participate in any of the workshops\, regardless of whether you can attend all four. Faculty who register and participate in three of the four workshops\, and who complete a “deliverable” by the end of the Institute\, will receive a small stipend.
