Welcome to open enrollment for 2015
Open enrollment is the annual opportunity for Luther employees to evaluate and make changes to Luther College benefit elections including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, retirement savings and flexible spending accounts.
We want to make sure you know that there is a new dental insurance plan for the same rate; there are changes to the health plan and important deadlines. Please read the entire email for the new and notable information. The most important piece to note is that coverage will remain the same unless by Dec. 19 you:

Health care plan changes
No plan changes were made to the college's health care plan, however health insurance rates will increase by 5 percent effective Jan. 1, 2015. The HR website includes full details, but the basic increases are:
Dental plan changes
Delta Dental will be the dental plan carrier effective Jan. 1, 2015.
Voluntary life insurance
Current participants in the voluntary life are eligible to increase coverage by $10,000 during open enrollment. If you have not enrolled in the plan previously, you can do so during open enrollment by completing an enrollment form and the Evidence of Insurability form.
Supplemental retirement contributions
You can start or change your contribution to your Supplemental Retirement Account at any time, utilizing either the pre-tax SRA or the after-tax Roth.
