SPIN Theatre Company

Luther students perform in "High School Musical" for SPIN's 1440 Minute Musical.

SPIN is a student-led organization advised by faculty member Lisa Lantz. SPIN Theatre Company provides theatrical performance, technical, and production opportunities to students regardless of major or prior experience. Through these events we emphasize the values of creative expression, collaboration, and inclusion. In the 2015-2016 academic year, 80% of participants were not theatre majors.

Annual Events

  • Haunted House
  • 1440 Minute Musical. A fully performed musical rehearsed exclusively in the 24 hours before the performance.

SPIN believes in giving back to the Luther community through philanthropy. Proceeds from the group's "1440 Minute Musical" go towards the Robert J. Larson Endowment, which supports bringing guest artists to the Visual and Performing Arts Department.
