Community Flood Resilience

In conjunction with the interviews in Freeport, the research team designed, distributed, and analyzed the results from a survey aimed at understanding the flood impacts across the Upper Iowa Watershed. Over 500 households participated, yielding important data on both the direct and indirect impacts of the 2016 flood on individual’s home, business, property, and/or farm.

The results of the survey were distributed to community members in the summer of 2019 in a format of which will be linked here. A more comprehensive report will be linked here.
