MMU invites applications for a Director to lead the newly-created Office of Sustainability and Stewardship
beginning fall 2017. Successful candidates will have a broad background in sustainability, as defined by the United
Nations, the commitment and experience to lead a campus-wide culture change, the creativity to innovate, and the
skills to adapt best-practices in sustainability.
Specifically, the Director will lead a team to: (1) inspire the university community to engage in sustainability and
stewardship initiatives, practices, and educational opportunities; (2) lead the development and operation of campus
sustainability and stewardship initiatives, practices, and educational opportunities; (3) serve as a resource,
collaborator, and support position for the university community on sustainability and stewardship issues; and (4)
manage the Office of Sustainability and Stewardship.
