The Dubuque County Food Systems Program Coordinator will be involved in all levels of horticulture and local foods education in traditional and non-traditional agricultural settings. Work will be guided by the research-based educational programming of Iowa State University Extension and Outreach. Daily activities will include working with individuals and organizations to enhance the viability of local agriculture through product diversification, direct marketing to multiple organization, institutions, and other outlets, promotion of local product labels and value-added opportunities.  This individual will provide leadership for the development of promotion of county agricultural resources.
