Wellness During COVID-19

During this time of prevention and distance learning and working in response to COVID-19, the Wellness staff is here to help you stay healthy and well.  The following wellness services, opportunities, and resources are available for students and employees.  You may also contact [email protected] to inquire about wellness related questions or concerns.

  • Gather at the Well with Wellness - For centuries people gathered at the community well to draw the water needed for their families to survive and thrive, it was also a time to socially connect with others in the community. Visit the wellness event calendar every Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. and Thursday at 9:30 a.m. until summer to gather via zoom for connection, a break from work/classes, and to recharge at our "virtual Luther well"!
  • Virtual Health and Wellness Coaching is available by appointment.  Appointments may be requested by completing this form.
  • Virtual Nutrition Counseling appointments are available for students depending on the state where they are currently residing. Students may email the Dietitian, Anne Blocker, to inquire about availability.
  • Virtual Lunch and Learns/Workshops - Visit the wellness event calendar to register for virtual lunch and learns and workshops via Zoom.  Lunch and learns and workshops will be added as they are scheduled.
  • Virtual Employee Ergonomic Assessments are available by appointment for those experiencing ergonomic concerns working from home. Due to social distancing, assessments may be limited in scope, and we ask that employees fill out the health and wellness coaching form to request appointments (not the regular ergonomic request form).
  • Ask Us is an online resource where you can ask our staff any health and wellness related question and receive a written response, which may be anonymous if you choose. Check it out here!
