The role of the Student Orientation Assistant is to provide leadership and creative thinking in planning and organizing the fall New Student Orientation program.  The Orientation Assistants work collaboratively with the Assistant Dean for Student Life, the Student Life Administrative Assistant, and the Orientation Coordinators. The Assistants will assist in the planning and execution of various orientation activities, including Move-in. This position does require students to attend a handful of meetings in the spring and to arrive on campus prior to New Student Orientation. Specific Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and organizing a wide variety of activities related to New Student Orientation (to include meetings during Spring of 2016).
  • Active involvement in New Student Orientation, including arrival on campus prior to orientation.
