Emma Veum Records Her 1000th Career Kill

Senior Emma Veum (Eagan, Minn./Eastview) became the fifth player in Luther history to record 1,000 career kills. Veum, a three-time all-conference performer, entered this weekend needing four kills to join this illustrious group and finished the first night of competition at the Dig Panici Volleyball Classic hosted by UW-Whitewater with a total of 11. Her career total reads 1,007 that ranks fourth all-time.

Atop this list is Amie Schroeder (1993-96) with 1537, followed by Abby Lahr (2004-07) with 1337 and Lisa Dettmann (1997-2000) with 1298. Amanda Stratton (2001-04) ranked fourth until tonight with 1004.
