Luther Qualifies Six Relays And One Individual for the Drake Relays - Results & Recaps

The official invites for the 107th Drake Relays was released today. Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa will host the three-day event April 27-30.

Luther has qualified six relays plus seven-time All-American Tricia Serres was invited to compete in the 5,000. The Norse schedule is listed below.

Thursday, April 28 - Recap

8:40 p.m. - 5000 - Tricia Serres was the only NCAA III runner in the 5000 meters tonight. She posted a time of 17:10.94 and placed 20th. Her time is the fastest in the Iowa Conference thus far and ranks 15th in the NCAA III.

Friday, April 29 - Recap

8:58 a.m. - 4 x 100 (Randi-Kate Canoy, Kacy Rodamaker, Alexis Hove, Keanna Belau) - The Norse placed 33 of 35 teams with a time of :50.68.

10:13  a.m. - Distance Medley Relay (McKenzie Carney, Marea Holkesvik, Sydney Gehrt, Serres) - The Norse posted the fifth fastest time in school history clocked at 12:12.41. The foursome placed 10th of 14 teams.

1:01 p.m. - 4 x 200 (Hove, Erin Kammer, Canoy, Rodamaker) - The Norse ran the sixth fastest time in school history posting a time of 1:46.29 and placed 12th of 15 teams.

2:07 p.m. - 4 x 400 (Holkesvik, Rodamaker, Canoy, Kayla Ingvalson) - The Norse placed 34 of 34 teams clocked at 4:06.18.

Saturday, April 30 - Recap

8:30 a.m. - Shuttle Hurdle Relay (Jesse Robinson, Jackie Krawczyk, Morgan Sammons, Holkesvik) - Luther posted the third fastest time in school history (1:07.78) and placed 10th of 13 teams.

9:00 a.m. - 1600 Sprint Medley Relay (Hove, Rodamaker, Ingvalson, Gehrt) - The Norse finished 13th of 20 teams with a time of 4:21.18
