On Saturday, Oct. 10 the Norse defeated then unbeaten Wartburg (8-1) with Cook defeating Olivia Phillips at No. 2 singles (6-1, 6-1) that clinched the team victory.
The next day, Luther claimed the outright championship by defeating Coe College 9-0. Cook also clinched this match with a (6-1, 6-0) victory over Emma Lassen at No. 1 singles.
In doubles, Cook and Devon Bourget (Sr., Eau Claire, Wis./Memorial) at No. 1, defeated Phillips and Sydneyt Rottinghaus of Wartburg (8-4) and Coe’s Lassen and Eliza Sundermann (8-2).
The two victories also increased Luther's string of consecutive wins over an A-R-C opponent to 18, dating back to Oct. 6, 2018.
Cook finished the regular season going undefeated in both singles and doubles, posting 6-0 records in both.
