Six Women's Tennis Players Named All-Conference

The Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC) has announced the 2017 Women's Tennis All-Conference team. Six members of the Luther College team were named all-conference. All-conference honors are decided by vote by the head coaches in the league.

It was also announced that Head Coach Adam Strand and Associate Head Coach Miriam Blom Skrade were named the Coaching Staff of the Year. This is the second time this duo has been so honored in as many years.

Jackie Cychosz, Claire Christian and Britta Pressler were named all-conference in both singles and doubles, while Anna Pearson, Kelsey Kruse and Devon Bourget were named all-conference in doubles.

Cychosz became only the second Norse to earn all-conference for a third time in singles and third to do so in doubles, since head coaches started voting in 2012. Both Christian and Pressler were named all-conference in singles for the second year in a row.

Anna Pearson and Pressler are making their second appearance on the all-conference team in doubles, while Christian, Kruse and Bourget are making their first appearance on the team.
