Luther College Women's Swimming Finishes Third at A-R-C Championships

The American Rivers Conference has released the all-conference honorees for 2018-19 in swimming and diving. For an athlete to earn all-conference honors, they must place in the top-two of an individual event or be a member of a first or second place relay team during the conference championships.

The A-R-C championship actually takes place simultaneously with the final national qualifying meet of the season, the Liberal Arts Championships, that was hosted by Coe College Feb. 13-16.

At the conclusion of the Liberal Arts Championships, the meet is re-scored with just A-R-C teams and the team champion and all-conference honors are determined.

All-Conference Honorees/Place:

50 Freestyle - Linnea Lee-Brown - Champion

100 Freestyle - Linnea Lee-Brown - 2nd place

As a team, Luther finished in third place with 347 points. Coe College was declared the conference team champions with 527 points. Loras College was second with 392 points, while Nebraska Wesleyan University was fourth with 333 and Simpson College was fifth with 262.
