Natalie Stockman Named IIAC Player of the Week

The Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC) has announced that Luther College junior Natalie Stockman has been named the league's Position Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, Feb. 26.

Stockman, who led the Norse last year with 45 RBI, got off to a quick start in the opening weekend of action producing 11 RBI in four games. She batted .571 that included three doubles en route to a slugging percentage of .786.

No. 6 Luther went 4-0 on the weekend posting wins over UW-Stout 13-1 (6), Bethel University 14-2 (5), St. Scholastica 6-0, and Dominican University 13-2 (5).

This is the first time Stockman has been named the IIAC Position Player of the Week.

Luther returns to action March 3 when they will face Washington-St. Louis and Northland College (WI) at the Rochester Dome, Rochester, Minn.
