Twelve members of the Luther College women's soccer team have been named to the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) 2019 Fall Sports All-Academic Team.
To be eligible for All-Academic Team honors a student-athlete must be on the eligibility list for the sport of nomination, at least a sophomore in academic standing with at least one year in residence and attain an accumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better (on a 4.0 scale).
The fall sports all-academic team is comprised of student-athletes from the sports of men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s cross country, football, volleyball, women’s tennis, and women’s golf.
Earning all-academic team recognition were seniors Maggie Anderson (St. Peter, Minn.), Katherine Bouska (Iowa City, Iowa/City), Josie Lange (Chaska, Minn.), and Lindsay McFarland (Lakeville, Minn./North); juniors Kennedy Bergren (Mahtomedi, Minn.), McKendra Heinke (Seymour, Wis.), Isabel Iverson (Decorah, Iowa), and Hanna Jennings (Williamsburg, Iowa); and sophomores Kelly Fiedler (Eagan, Minn./St. Paul Academcy), Hailee Gilliand (Minneapolis, Minn./Minnehaha Academcy), Brooke Stanga (Northfield, Minn.) and Anna Ziniel (Iowa City, Iowa/Regina).
All four seniors are earning this honor for a third time, while all four juniors and being recognized for a second time.
