Luther Ranked No. 25 in Final NSCAA National Rankings

The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) has released the final rankings for the 2016 campaign and Luther College is ranked No. 25.

Luther completed the 2016 campaign with an overall record of 13-3-3 that included a school record 13-match unbeaten streak. The Norse were crowned Iowa Conference champions for the first time since 2009 and fifth time in school history. They went on to claim the six-team Iowa Conference Tournament title earning the league's automatic berth to the NCAA III National Tournament, the first appearance in school history.

Eleven seniors wrapped up their careers posting a four-year record of 49-22-4, 18-8-3 in the Iowa Conference.

Head Coach Russ Schouweiler was named the Iowa Conference Coach of the Year for the second time. During his seven years at the helm, he has produced a record of 76-49-7, 35-21-2 in the IIAC.
