Five Luther College Women's Cross Country Student-Athletes Earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors

The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Association (USTFCCCA) has announced that five Luther College cross country student-athletes have earned All-Academic Honors. 

In total, there were 378 women who earned All-Academic mention from the USTFCCCA in Division III. In order to be named USTFCCCA All-Academic, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) and finish in the top-25 percent at their respective regional.

Luther athletes who earned this honor were senior Vera Lindhorst (St. Cloud, Minn./Tech), junior Amelia Hornseth (St. Paul, Minn./Nova Classical Academy) and sophomores Katie Fetting (Appleton, Wis./East), Heather Hostager (Dubuque, Iowa/Hempstead) and Amelia Morrow (Iowa City, Iowa/City). 

There were 209 competitors at the Central Regional hosted by Wartburg College (IA) held November 16, 2019.
