Amanda Bailey

Head Coach/Senior Women's Administrator/NCAA Compliance & Eligibility Officer

  • The 2019-20 campaign will be Coach Bailey's ninth year as head coach
  • 2005 graduate of UW-Stevens Point
  • 2007 Masters degree from UW-Stevens Point in General Education
  • Since 2015 she has led the Norse to five consecutive appearances in the conference tournament advaning to the championship game four times
  • 2015 she was named Conference Coach of the Year
  • During the 2015-16 season, she led the Norse to a conference championship, the eighth league title in school history and first since 2007
  • That same year the Norse posted a record of 23-6, captured the Conference Tournament title and advanced to the second round of the NCAA III National Tournament
  • She has coached 11 players who have earned 15 all-conference honors, one that was named the league's MVP twice and current player Laura Hamilton who was named Defensive Player of the Year in 2018 and 2019
  • Prior to being named head coach she was Luther's top assistant for three years
  • While playing for Stevens Point she was a two-time WBCA Kodak All-American
  • 2005 NCAA III National Player of the Year
  • Three-times named first-team all-conference and twice was named WIAC Player of the Year
  • Completed her career as the Pointers all-time leading scorer with 1,801 points
  • Helped lead the Pointers to a record of 101-19 during her career and the 2002 NCAA III national championship and a fourth place finish in the national tournament in 2004
  • As a member of the Pointers track and field team, she was a four-time All-American in the shot put and once in the discus

Megan Jones

Assistant Coach

  • 2019-20 will be Coach Jone's second as an assistant coach
  • 2016 graduate of Loras College
  • 2018 Master's degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sports Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
  • Member of Duhawks 2014 conference championship team
  • Member of Duhawks 2014 and 2016 NCAA III National Tournament teams
  • During her four years the Duhawks posted an overall record of 71-38
  • Daughter of Andy and Robyn Jones who have a combined 50-plus years of coaching basketball at all levels
  • Hometown: Colfax, Ill.
