Luther placed eighth of 17 teams at the Cliff Keen Mike Duroe Invitational hosted by Cornell College. The Norse posted 65.5 points. Cornell won the team title with 97.5 points, finishing just ahead of Wartburg College with 97.0. Loras College was third (94.0), Stevens Institute of Technology (91.5), Concordia-Moorhead (82.0), Olivet College (82.0) and Augsburg College (79.0) finished ahead of the Norse.

Individually, Tyler DiFiore (133) and Ira Kuehn (184) both placed third. DiFiore finished 4-1 with a major decision, while Kuehn was 5-1 with a fall and major decision.

Michael Petersen (157) and Noel Banuelos (174) placed fifth. Petersen finsihed the day with a record of 4-2 with one major decision. Banuelos was 4-2 with a major decision.

Austin Hansen (174) was crowned the consolation champion after going 3-1 that included a fall, a major decision and a tech fall.
