Luther and the University of Dubuque squared off in the Regents Center for the first dual meet of the year for both teams. The Norse defeated the Spartans by a final of 36-3.
Luther picked up bonus points in five matches. Teagen Miller posted a major decision (12-3) over Stone Durham at 157. Two matches later, Michael Suarez won by tech fall (20-2, 4:10) over Malik Milazzo at 174. Ira Kuehn followed immediately with a tech fall (18-1, 5:57) over Kevin Royce at 184. Logan Kennedy at 285, recorded a fall (2:40) over Dan Patrella and Tyler DiFiore finished the bonus points with a major decision (14-3) over Richard Diaz at 133.
Luther returns to action this Saturday, Dec. 1 and will host a triangular. The Norse will face Cornell College at 1:30 p.m., followed by a match against UW-Stevens Point at 3:00 p.m. Cornell and UW-Stevens Point will begin the afternoon at Noon.
