Luther posted a 5-4 come-from-behind victory over regionally ranked No. 16 Carthage College this morning in Orlando. Florida. After falling behind 2-1 at the conclusion of doubles play, the Norse responded by taking four of six singles matches to secure their fifth win a in row.
Luther's lone win in doubles was by the duo of Anders Jensen and Nate Parsons who defeated Chris Conley and Lukasz Jaworski at No. 2 (8-5).
In singles aciton, the Parsons won a three-set match versus Conley (7-5, 2-6, 10-6) at No. 3. Jensen at No. 4, Brian Murman at No. 5, and Sam Buffington at No. 6 all won in straight sets.
The win gives Luther an overall record of 9-2. The Norse will wrap up today's action with a match against Elmhurst College later tonight.
