Luther won its third match in a row defeating Hamilton College (NY) 6-3 today in Orlando, Florida. The Norse won two of three doubles matches and four of six singles matches to secure their eighth win of the year against two losses.

In doubles, Anders Jensen and Nate Parsons defeated Sam Farber and Max McKee-Proctor 8-6 at No. 2. Kenny Goins and Jake Smith posed an 8-4 win over Jon Cohen and Devin White at No. 3. Jensen and Parsons are now 5-4 for the year, while Goins and Smith improved to 3-2.

Kyle Appel, Parsons, and Jensen all won in straight sets in singles, while Brian Murman secured a three-set victory. Appell defeated McKee-Proctor at No. 1 (6-4, 6-4). Parsons posted a (6-0, 6-2) win over Cohen at No. 3. Jensen defeated Eyad Nagori (6-1, 6-0) at No. 4. After dropping the first set (3-6) to Lars Scannell, Murman won the next two sets (6-3, 10-7) to secure the win at No. 5.

Luther is scheduled to play two matches tomorrow. The first will be against Carthage College at 10:00 a.m., and the second against Elmhurst College at 6:00 p.m. EST.
