Liberal Arts Championships - Recap

Day Four Results (Saturday):

Luther completed the 2020 Liberal Arts Championships with a fourth place finish. The Norse tallied 497 points during the four days of competition. Illinois Institute of Technology won the team title with 757. Morningside College was second with 513 and Coe College was fourth with 506.

Peder Smith and Landon Albro were crowned LIB champions. Smith won the 400 IM during the third day of competition. His time of 4:10.04 was a personal best by almost three seconds and ranks second on Luther's all-time list. 

Albro won both the one-meter (390.75) and three-meter (361.85) diving events. For his efforts he was named the Liberal Arts Championships Men's Diver of the Meet. Luther diving coach Dave Happel was named the Liberal Arts Championships Men's Diving Coach of the meet.

Following the second full day of competition, Luther is in third place with 159 points. Illinois Tech sits atop the leader board with 292 points followed by Coe College with 207 (Complete Team Scores)
