Luther advanced to the second round of the NCAA III Men's National Soccer Tournament after defeating Principia College (IL) 5-1.

After leading 1-0 at halftime, the Norse exploded for four goals in the second frame, en route to their fourth win in a row. 

Ben Keller scored his 15th and 16th goals of the year, while Ben Sizelove (4), Joao Pedruzzi (3) and Marcos Vila (13) all found the back of the Panthers net. Sizelove (1) Marc-Arthur Shapiro (5) and Colin Hughes (8) were all credited with assists. Carson Davenport faced five shots on goal and stopped four.

The win gives Luther an overall record of 17-4-1. Principia ends its season with a mark of 13-7-0.

Tomorrow afternoon, Luther will face UW-Superior in a second round match that will begin at 3:00 p.m. Superior defeated Central College 3-2 in today's second match held in the valley at Luther.
