The United Soccer Coaches has announced the 2018 NCAA Division III Men's Scholar All-Region Teams. There are 29 athletes selected in four regions, East, North-Central, South and West.
Student-athletes receiving Scholar All-Region recognition met the following criteria: Must have a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) or better throughout their career; Started more than 50 percent of all games during the 2018 season and significantly contribute to their team; Nominated by head coach of current College Services member institution; Junior or above in academic standing; and, if a transfer student, in second year at school.
Luther had three players named to the all-North/Central Team, one first team selection and two second team honorees.
Named first-team Scholar All-North/Central Region was senior Aidan O'Driscoll (Minneapolis, Minn./Benelde-St. Margaret's). Seniors Luke VonEschen (St. Louis Park, Minn.) and Rafael Broseghini (Rio De Janerio, Brazil) were second-team honorees.
