RISE UP: Live Your Legacy

For the Luther football program, Chris Norton has served as a source of inspiration. His relentless pursuit of impacting others with his story has been an inspiration to people all over the United States and the world. We are excited to partner with the organization he began, the SCI-CAN Foundation, as part of the RISE UP: Live Your Legacy Campaign.

Each donation to the fundraising campaign will benefit the Luther Football program, with a portion going to the SCI-CAN Foundation. This is our way of honoring Chris for the inspiration he’s provided for our entire team.

And, we want to give you a chance to honor someone who has inspired you. When you donate to the RISE UP: Live Your Legacy Campaign, simply tell us who inspired you and we'll send a note from you, along with a t-shirt to your source of inspiration. Just our way to "pay it forward!"

About Chris Norton

Former Luther College student athlete, Chris Norton, was injured in a football game on October 16, 2010 and was given a 3% chance of ever regaining any movement below his neck. However, with his faith and determination he has been regaining movement throughout his body and walked across the stage of his college graduation that has been viewed over 300 million times across the world.

Chris attributes much of his success to the array of therapeutic options he has had access to during the past seven years. Unfortunately, Chris has encountered many people who have suffered similar injuries without the necessary therapy equipment to achieve their recovery goals. It was with this crisis in mind that Chris, his family, and his friends got together and decided to begin work on the SCI-CAN Foundation.
