Caleb Padilla, Luther College head football coach, has announced the hiring of Dorian Keller as offensive line coach, co-offensive coordinator and camp coordinator.
Keller joins the Luther coaching staff from Idaho State University where he was the offensive line coach since 2016. Prior to that he was the fullbacks and tight ends coach at Cal Poly (2015-16), a graduate assistant at San Diego State University (2012-15) and tight ends coach at University of San Diego (2010-12), where he played collegiate football until suffering a career ending injury in 2006.
"I am honored and excited to become a member of the Norse community, especially at a time when Luther football is well on its way to reaching incredible heights as a program,” commented Keller. “With Coach Padilla's passion and leadership, Athletic Director Renae Hartl's knowledge and support, combined with an experienced coaching staff and student-athletes that are great at what they do on and off the football field, I believe Luther football will be a force to be reckoned with. I am so thankful for the opportunity to be a part of it."
“This coaching staff is going to be the premiere coaching staff in the Iowa Conference and region,” stated Padilla. “Dorian Keller really solidifies that! He has tremendous passion, detail and experience that will maximize our offensive line’s potential and work with Coach Hickman to make us a very challenging offense to defend.”
