Fourteen members of the Luther College men's cross country team have been named to the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) 2019 Fall Sports All-Academic Team.
To be eligible for All-Academic Team honors a student-athlete must be on the eligibility list for the sport of nomination, at least a sophomore in academic standing with at least one year in residence and attain an accumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better (on a 4.0 scale).
The fall sports all-academic team is comprised of student-athletes from the sports of men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s cross country, football, volleyball, women’s tennis, and women’s golf.
Earning all-academic team recognition were seniors juniors Collin Kern (Bloomington, Minn./Kennedy), Andrew Millan (Plymouth, Minn./Wayzata), Trevor Phillips (Decorah, Iowa), and Colin Weber (Rochester, Minn./Century); juniors Daniel Iselin (Greendale, Wis./Platteville) and David Will (Rochester, Minn./Century); and sophomores Tom Altier (Granger, Iowa/Johnston), Caleb Burjes (Cedar Falls, Iowa), Fred Farrand (Kansas City, Mo./Raytown), Ethan Goers (Iowa City, Iowa/West), Quenton Max (Iowa City, Iowa/City), Jarod Phillips (Decorah, Iowa) and Alex Smith (Rochester, Minn./Century).
All four seniors are being recognized for a third time and both juniors are earning this honor a second time.
