Three Luther College Men's Cross Country Student-Athletes Earn 2018 USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors

The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Association (USTFCCCA) has announced that three Luther College cross country student-athletes have earned All-Academic Honors. 

In total, there were 300 men who earned All-Academic mention from the USTFCCCA in Division III. In order to be named USTFCCCA All-Academic, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) and finish in the top-25 percent at their respective regional.

Earning this honor was junior Collin Kern (Bloomington, Minn./Kennedy), sophomore Dan Iselin (Greendale, Wis./Platteville) and freshman Tom Altier (Granger, Iowa/Johnston). 

There were 210 competitors at the Central Regional hosted by Wartburg College (IA) held November 10, 2018. Altier placed 30th (25:38.6), Kern placed 37th (25:51.3) and Iselin placed 42nd (25:53.1).
