Luther will travel to Tuscson, Arizona for fives games in four days at the Kino Sports Complex March 5-8.

Thursday: Bethesda University (CA) scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth to secure a come-from-behind 14-13 victory. The loss was the first of the season for the Norse who are now 4-1.
These two teams combined for 27 runs on 25 hits. Luther scored four runs in the top of the fourth only to see Bethesda answer with nine in the bottom half of the frame.
Luther took a 13-11 lead into the bottom of the ninth after scoring one in the second, five in the fourth, and one in the fifth, sixth and seventh innings.
Joe McKibben, Owen Vander Linden and Noah Sebben all had two hits. Kyle Schnobrich led the team with two rbi. Lead-off batter Luke Plunkett and Kelby Johnson hit a solo home runs in the top of the first and second innings respectively.
Luther returns to action Friday morning when it will play Marian University (WI) at 10 a.m. Iowa time.
Friday: Luther was defeated by Marian University (WI) 10-5 this morning in Tucson, Arizona. This was the only game scheduled today for the Norse.
After scoring a run in the first inning, the Sabres broke this game open with seven runs in the third. They added two more in the ninth.
Luther was held scoreless until the seventh when they put one run on the board and followed with four more in the eighth.
Marian starter Garrett Martin pitched six innings and allowed just three hits and struck out 10 batters and issue four walks en route to the win.
The loss gives Luther an overall record of 4-2. This was the season opener for Marian.
Saturday, March 7
Luther dropped a double header to Carthage College this afternoon. The Norse were defeated 8-3 in game one and 12-1 in game two.
In game one, Luther was held to one hit, while scoring two runs in the second and one in the seventh. Carthage tallied 10 hits and did all of its damage in the bottom of the sixth, scoring seven runs on five hits and left three runners on base.
In game two, Carthage scored in every frame except two en route to the victory. Luther's lone run came in the bottom of the first. Cullen Stamp led off with a single and scored after a wild pitch and two pass balls.
Luther is now 4-4 overall.
Sunday, March 8
Luther defeated Bethany Lutheran 9-4 this morning in Tucson, Arizona. This was the final game of the trip for the Norse.
The Norse tallied their nine runs on 10 hits scoring twice in both the first and sixth innings and added five in the eighth. The Vikings scored three times in the bottom of the first and once in the final frame.
Luke Plunkett drove in two runs, while Cullen Stamp, Owen Vander Linden, Kyle Schnobrich and Joe McKibben all drove in one. Stamp had three hits from the lead-off slot and Plunkett had two.
The win gives Luther an overall 5-4. This was Bethany Lutheran's first game of the year.
Saturday and Sunday, March 14-15, Luther will travel to Decatur, Ill., and will play three games at Millikin University. Luther will face Alma College (1x9) and Aurora University (1x9) on Saturday, and finish the trip against Millikin (1x9) on Sunday.
