Renae Hartl, Luther College Director of Intercollegiate Athletics, has named Miles Clifton Head Football Strength Coach. He will also serve as the Assistant Sports Performance Coach and Legends Center Director. Clifton will officially begin his duties at Luther on Feb. 18.
A 2013 graduate of Northwest Missouri State University, Clifton joins the Luther Sports Performance coaching staff after serving as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach at William Jewell College, Liberty, Mo., since August 2017.
Prior to his time at William Jewell, he served as a strength and conditioning intern at Harvard University, Cambridge, Mass., (June 2018-August 2018) and Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville, Mo., (May 2017-July 2017).
“I am thrilled to get the opportunity to work with Coach Jenicke and the rest of the Luther athletic staff,” stated Clifton. “I am looking forward to getting back on campus to meet all of our student athletes and to get to work! Go Norse!"
