Renae Hartl, Luther College director of intercollegiate athletics, has named Derek Stork Assistant Director of Athletic Performance. Stork joins the Norse Athletic Performance staff after serving as a graduate assistant of Athletic Performance at William Penn University. Along with his duties at William Penn, he was also the Head Coach of Athletic Performance at Lynville-Sully High School. He will begin his new duties immediately.
A 2017 graduate of Luther College, Stork has also been involved with internships at the University of Iowa Olympic Strength and Conditioning Program and the Auburn University Football Athletic Performance program.
While at Luther, he was a three-year letter winner as a member of the wrestling team. He graduated with a B.A. in Health and Fitness Promotion. He is currently completing a Masters of Business Leadership through William Penn University.
