Luther Men's and Women's Soccer Teams Earn 2015 NSCAA All-Academic Team Award

The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) has announced the recipients of the Academic Team Award for the 2014-15 academic year. Luther was one of 217 schools from all divisions that both the men's and women's programs earned this honor.

To be eligible for this honor, a team's entire roster must have a combined grade-point-average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

The men were one of 307 teams recognized. The Norse had a grade-point-average of 3.05.

Since this award was instituted by the NSCAA in 1996, the Luther men have been named an All-Academic Team eight times, that includes the past five years in a row (2006, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015).

The women had a grade-point-average of 3.11 and were one of 556 teams recognized.

This marks the ninth time that the Luther women have been named an All-Academic Team, that includes the last six years in a row (1998, 2006, 2007, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015).
