Luther rolled to a 102-76 victory over Nebraska Wesleyan University this afternoon in the Regents Center. The Norse blistered the nets shooting 52.6% from the field and 71.4% from the charity stripe. The Norse also dominated the boards out rebounding the Prairie Wolves 51-34.
Five Luther players tallied double digits led by Jenna Uphoff, who poured in a career high 20 points off the bench. Uphoff did most of her damage from behind the three-point line connecting on 5-of-8 attempts, that included a 4-for-4 performance in the first half.
Hamilton led the Norse with nine rebounds, nine assists and two steals, all game highs.
The Prairie Wolves were led by American Rivers Conference leading scorer Caitlin Navratil who finished with a game high 26. Mikenzie Delgado also tallied double digits with 12.
The wins gives Luther an A-R-C record of 10-3, 12-8 overall. NWU fell to 3-10 in league play 6-14 overall.
Next week Luther has road games at Central College on Wednesday, Feb. 12 and the University of Dubuque on Saturday, Feb. 15.
