For the first time since 2013 the Luther College men's cross country team claimed the team title of the All-American Invitational. Today's race was the 47th dating back to 1972. With today's title, the Norse have won the event five times.

Luther had four runners in the top-six finishers from the field of 139 and posted a point total of 34. Augustana (IL) was second with 57 and St. John's University (MN) was third with 82.

Luther alumni Adam Bohach won the individual title covering the 4 mile course with a time of 20:42. He was followed by Luther's Ian Kelley (20:56), Tom Altier (20:58.4) and Collin Kern (20:58.5), crossing the finish line in second, third and fourth respectively.

Sam Schillinger (21:09) finished sixth and Colin Weber (21:43) was 19th to complete the Norse five. David Will (32nd - 22:09). and Ryan Rogers (35th - 22:13) completed the top-seven.

Luther will return to action on Friday, Oct. 4 when it will race at the UW-Eau Claire Blugold Invitational. This race will take place at the Whitetail Golf Course, Colfax, Wis., and will begin at 4:15 p.m.
