The 2019 American Rivers Conference Championship is in the books. Nebraska Wesleyan shot 306 this afternoon at Hillcrest Country Club in Lincoln, Neb., and finished with a 54-hole total of 917 to claim the team title. Central College posted the low round of the day of 298 and finished in second place at 921. Luther shot 303 this afternoon and finished third with a 926.
Individually, Joe Fewer became the fourth player in Luther history to earn all-conference honors four times. Fewer finished in ninth place shooting rounds of (79-76-77-232). To earn all-conference honors you must finish in the top-10.
Ben Phipps also earned all-conference honors finishing in fifth place. Phipps carded rounds of (78-77-72-227).
Alex Kubik of Nebraska Wesleyan was the tournament medalist with a 218.
The remainder of the Norse five and where they finished from the field of 43 golfers that played all three rounds. JP Knutson (T11th - 78-77-79-234), Ben Meyer (T13th - 79-81-75-235) and Spencer Horst (T17th - 82-79-79-240).
