American Rivers Conference Outdoor Championships - Recap

After the first full day of competition at the American Rivers Conference Track & Field Championships hosted by Coe College, Luther in sixth place with 18 points.

Headlining today's  results was the all-conference performance by Sarah Holtz in the high jump. Holtz placed third with a height of 5-2 1/4. This is her second consecutive year she has earn all-conference honors in this event.

Saturday's Results:Luther wrapped up the 2019 American Rivers Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships in sixth place with 43 points. Wartburg College won the team title edging Nebraska Wesleyan University. The Knights tallied 188.5 points and the Prairie Wolves finished with 188.

Anna Restamayer was crowned the American Rivers Conference champion in the 1500 meters this afternoon. Restamayer crossed the finish line with a time of 4:39.68 ranks ranks seventh on Luther's all-time list for this event. This was Restamayer's first conference title and she also becomes the fifth athlete in Luther history to claim a conference championship in this event. 

Amelia Hornseth also earned all-conference honors (top-3) in the 1500 placing third clocked at 4:41.44.
