Luther traveled to UW-Eau Claire for the Don Parker Open. No team scores were kept. The Norse ended the day posting two third place finishes and four consolation bracket titles.
Placing third this afternoon was Connor Murphy (125) and Brier Babin (133). Murphy finished the day with a record of 2-1 and defeated Jake Nohre of Concordia Moorhead 9-4 in the third place match. Babin was 3-1 and won the third place match on a medical forfeit. Babin was eliminated from the championship bracket in the semifinals by Sam Bennyhoff of Augsburg by fall (4:40).
After losing his first match of the afternoon, Petersen recorded five consecutive falls, en route to the consolation championship. He defeated Mason Wheller of UW-Stevens Point for the title by fall (1:25).
Suarez finished the day 4-1 with one fall. He defeated Alfred Daniel, unattached from Rochester, by decision (11-5) to claim the title.
Banuelos was also 4-1 and defeated Sam Ryner of UW-Whitewater 2-1 in the consolation championship. Banuelos also recorded a fall and a major decision during the afternoon.
Weaver was 3-1 with one fall and one tech fall. He defeated Morgen Moreno of Rochester Community and Technical College by fall (6:55) in the consolation title match.
Teagen Miller (157) was defeated in the consolation championship match of this bracket by Michael Abeyta of Augsburg 7-6. Miller finished the day with a record of 3-2 that included two falls and one tech fall.

Next week, Luther will wrap up its dual meet schedule with a match at home against Buena Vista University. This American Rivers Conference match will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 8.
