The first 36 holes of the American Rivers Conference Championships are complete. The first two rounds were played at Pheasants Ridge Golf Course, Cedar Falls, Iowa, a Par 72 that measured 5877 yards.

Luther shot rounds of 335-338 and is in a two-way tie for third place with Wartburg College a 673. The Norse trail tournament leader Central College by 25 strokes. Central shot rounds of 327-321-648 and has a one-stroke lead over the University of Dubuque with a 649.

Individually, Aimee Hodges and Morgan Kranz are in a three-way tie for eighth place from the field of 42 golfers. Both shot identical rounds of 81-86-167. 

Daniela Miranda of Dubuque has a slim one-stroke lead over Brooke Klosterman of Wartburg and Emily Opsal of Central for medalist honors. Miranda carded rounds of 74-80-154. Both Klosterman and Opsal shot 155.

Completing Luther's five and where they rank in the standings includes Kelly Schultz (T14 - 170), Sydney Maule (T18-172), and Alexa Eichstadt (T23rd - 176).

The final two rounds of the tournament will take place next weekend at Oneota Golf and Country Club in Decorah, Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 6-7.
