No. 23 Luther wrapped up the American Rivers Conference schedule with a 1-0 home victory over the University of Dubuque.
Ben Keller scored the game winner at 19:31 on a header off a corner kick by Aidan O'Driscoll (3). Keller's goal was his eighth of the year.
The Spartans had six shots tonight, five that were placed inside the frame, and all turned away by Carson Davenport. The shut out was his fifth of the season.
The victory gives Luther an A-R-C record of 6-1-1, 14-3-1 overall. Dubuque's season comes to an end with a league record of 2-6-0, 4-12-0 overall.
The win secured the No. 2 seed for the Norse for the six-team conference tournament that begins this Saturday, Oct. 27. The Norse will get a first round bye and will play the winner between No. 3 Wartburg College and No. 6 Nebraska Wesleyan University in the semifinals on Wednesday, Oct. 31. Start time will be announced.
