Trailing 2-0 deep into the second half, Luther scored four goals in a span of 26 minutes to post a 4-2 come-from behind victory over University of St. Thomas.
Brock Arend (4) leveled the match scoring goals in the 60th and 79th minutes. JW Slauson (2) scored what proved to be the game winner at 85:50 and Saul Rosales (4) completed the scoring barrage with a goal at 86:41. Jon Gednalske (2) assisted on Arend's second goal, while Slauson (2) assisted on the Rosales goal.
Peter Wright went the distance in the nets and was credited with eight saves.
The Norse, ranked 4th in the North Region, remain undefeated with a record of 4-0-2. St. Thomas, ranked 5th in the North Region, suffered its first loss of the year and are now 4-1-1.
Luther returns to action this Sunday, Sept. 16 when it will travel to Carleton College for a match that will begin 4:00 p.m. The Knights are ranked 6th in the North Region. This match will be video streamed by the Carleton sports information department.
