Luther offers on-campus housing for the following students:
Summer housing begins: Sunday, May 24, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. and ends on August 11, 2015. Students who plan to move into summer housing on May 24 may remain in their spring residence hall rooms until that time)
Students may choose between two housing options:
Miller double room with a roommate: $8.00 per night. Students may apply with a roommate or as an individual. If you do not have a roommate, we will assign one for you. A minimum stay of 2 weeks is required.
Miller double room with no roommate: $11.00 per night. Students may apply for a double room with no roommate, excluding corner rooms. A minimum stay of 2 weeks is required. Only the applicant may live in the room; students who violate this policy will be asked to leave.
Billing begins once a room key is issued and continues until a student moves all their possessions out of the room and returns the room key.
Students employed on campus will have housing fees deducted from each paycheck. Students who are enrolled in classes but are not working on campus will be billed for summer housing fees.
Applications will be date stamped in the Residence Life office and rooms will be filled in the order received.
Students will be notified via email of their summer housing assignment no later than May 15, 2015.
Policies and guidelines listed in the Luther College Student Handbook apply to all student residents during the summer.
If you have special needs that should be considered when the housing form is submitted, please attach appropriate documentation describing the specific nature of those needs. Due to limited housing available, not all needs can be met with campus housing during the summer. You may be contacted for more information.
