Ylvisaker Hall

Completed in 1964, J. Wilhelm Ylvisaker (pronounced "ill-vuh-soccer") Hall is named after the fifth president of Luther College. Renovated in the summer of 2002, the hall contains large study and recreation lounges on the east end of the building.

  • No smoking allowed anywhere in the hall.

Ylvisaker Room Dimensions and Furnishings

All rooms are 10-feet-10-inches by 15-feet-2-inches and contain the following moveable furniture for each student: twin extra-long bed, desk, desk chair, wardrobe, and 4-drawer dresser. Beds are bunkable but may not be lofted.
