Does Luther College encourage events during the summer?
Luther College offers excellent facilities and planning services for a wide range of events, including corporate and nonprofit meetings, employee training, camps, conferences, banquets, weddings, picnics, and more. Our conference season includes the entire months of June and July.

What is the time frame for reserving facilities during the summer conference season?
Typically, Luther College does not reserve a space more than 12 months in advance. Our summer conference fees (housing and cafeteria) are determined and confirmed by October 10. Reservations and questions concerning the summer calendar may be discussed and reviewed prior to that time. We also welcome the opportunity to bid on multiyear events.

What is the time frame for reserving facilities during the academic school year?
Luther College will not reserve spaces until the upcoming academic year has been scheduled and reserved. We usually receive reservation requests up to four months in advance.

What is your payment policy?
During the academic year and summer conference season, we will send an itemized invoice within one month following the scheduled event. In certain cases, we may require a down payment to secure the reservation.

Do we sign a contract to secure the reservation?
Under ideal conditions, we would like the event planning committee to visit the campus to review our facilities and discuss the proposed event. After the dates have been set, we issue a Service of Agreement that binds the event to our summer calendar. The next step is to establish an event schedule for Luther College and our new customer.
