Alumnus Creighton awarded Hester King Award

Luther alumnus Lorenzo Creighton has been awarded the Hester King Award by the Prince George's County, Maryland, chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. Creighton agreed to hire minority-owned businesses for the construction of a Washington, D.C.-area resort. Creighton graduated from Luther in 1975 with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and black studies.
