What makes Luther home for you:
Coming from a small town, Luther is home for me because of the close knit and encouraging community. Not a day goes by, that I haven't felt surrounded by people who are helping you to become the best version of yourself and truly preparing you for life after Luther.

Best piece of advice for new students:
Go to class, do your homework, drink coffee, and don't forget to smile. It is easy to get wrapped up in homework and studying but don't forget that college is supposed to be fun too. Each day presents new challenges and obstacles which can make life feel crazy so be sure to celebrate. Lastly, always live for today and spread love!

What makes Luther home for you?
What makes Luther home for me are the people and the loving community. Those I have come to know on this campus are so genuine and kind to one another. Each day friends and professors are running to you, smiling, and asking about your day. The way these people push and support each other parallels is the way my family supported me growing up. It is the deep love and care that people have for one another here that makes Luther home for me.

Don’t be afraid to try things outside of your comfort zone, push yourself to authentically be yourself, and you will make friends to last a lifetime. Make building a great support system your goal.

What makes Luther home for you?
The people make Luther home for me. They have become my second family, and I don’t know how I could do it without my amazing friends or the great staff and professors.
