After coming off of a 23-6 finish last season, the 2015-16 Luther College women's basketball team is looking forward to continuing the pursuit of excellence.

We practice and play with GRIT (Guts, Resilience, Intensity, and Toughness). The Norse will return three starters, including Iowa Conference MVP and Co-Defensive Player of the Year Moran Lonning and second team all-conference selection Kylie Romeo. This team will play a competitive regular season schedule of 25 games that includes 11 non-conference games against teams throughout the Midwest Region.

The team is also excited about the opportunity to travel to the Balkans this spring and experience the culture of International Basketball.

Active in the Community

Individually, our players participate in events such as take a kid to the game, 2nd grade mini clinic, and Decorah Food & Fitness Initiatives. In the fall we provide youth basketball clinics such as Jr. Norse and Future Norse. This is a great opportunity to not only interact with the youth but to keep our fundamental basketball skills sharp.
