Music scholarship auditions must be completed prior to the March deadline each year (March 13, 2020).
Students should complete an application to Luther before scheduling a Weston Noble Music scholarship audition. In addition, students are encouraged to complete the Recruit Me - Music form prior to your audition. This form allows you to share your music interests and accomplishments with Luther. Music résumés or pre-screening recordings are not required at this time.
Register online to schedule an audition either during:
An individual weekday visit to campus or
Select group visit events. (online registration forms for these options available approximately 5 weeks prior to the event)
**by invitation only
In addition, students attending Luther College Dorian Festivals may have their audition completed at that time. Festivals are open to students nominated by music directors or private instructors. Audition requirements are the same.
*During Dorian Vocal Festival, Audition Requirements change to only ONE solo piece for the mini-lesson audition due to time constraints.
If the distance you live from Luther (greater than 200 miles) makes auditioning on campus impractical, the music faculty will accept a high-quality recording, video strongly preferred. (See requirements for your area of study.)
Upload files and share video links through an email to Jana Vorvick prior to the March deadline each year (March 13, 2020).
Audition recordings may be sent and must be postmarked prior to the annual March deadline.
