Festival Schedule

2018 Dorian Keyboard Festival Schedule 

Saturday, November 10th and Sunday, November 11th

Please note that there have been some significant changes to the festival schedule in an attempt to condense the festival into one day so that students can take advantage of all festival activities while on campus.  Please note that minor details on the schedule are still subject to change.

Saturday, November 10th, 2018

8:30-11:00 Registration is open for all participants, Jenson-Noble Hall of Music Lobby.

8:30-11:00 Student performances in studio and masterclass locations. Masterclass sites are open to the public, and they are in the Noble Recital Hall, the Choir Room, and the Orchestra Room. 

10:00-11:00 Organ and Harpsichord Exploration Sessions (limited to 4 participants each)

11:15-12:15 Public Masterclass by the guest artist with current Luther students (all festival participants are invited to attend)

12:15-1:00 Lunch

1:00-3:00 Student performances in studio and masterclass locations. Masterclass sites are open to the public, and they are in the Noble Recital Hall, the Choir Room, and the Orchestra Room. 

2:00-3:00 Organ and Harpsichord Exploration Sessions (limited to 4 participants each)

3:30-4:30 Guest Artist Recital, free and open to the public, Noble Recital Hall (all festival participants are invited to attend)

4:30 Announcement of Student Recitalists, Noble Recital Hall

4:45-5:15 Middle School Student Honors Recital, free and open to the public, Noble Recital Hall

5:30-6:30 High School Student Honors Recital, free and open to the public, Noble Recital Hall

12:00-2:00 Public Masterclass by the guest artist with current Luther students, free and open to the public, Noble Recital Hall
