Dorian Keyboard Festival

59th Annual Dorian Keyboard Festival
November 11-13, 2016

We are looking forward to having piano and organ students and teachers from around the region on campus once again for the 2016 Dorian Keyboard Festival. Throughout the weekend, participants will have the chance to study one-on-one with the festival faculty, perform in a public or private setting, and attend recitals, masterclasses, and workshops. Outstanding festival participants will be selected to perform on the festival honor recital in Luther's beautiful Noble Recital Hall.

Dr. Thomas (T.J.) Lymenstull will be our guest artist for the 2016 keyboard festival. Dr. Lymenstull is an Instructor of Piano at the Interlochen Fine Arts Academy, and we are delighted to have him joining us for the festival. He will perform a recital at 7:30 pm on Friday, November 11th that is free and open to the public. He will also conduct a public masterclass for Luther students on Sunday, November 12th.

Keyboard students interested in attending Luther College in 2017-18 may audition for a music scholarship during the festival weekend.

Students interested in auditioning for non-keyboard music scholarship over the festival weekend may have arranged to do so by calling the Admissions Office at 563-387-1287.

Mail form and payment to: Kayla Scholl, 700 College Dr, Decorah, IA 52101 OR email form to [email protected] and bring payment upon arrival.
